Cherley Temple Villamor Abalde
The famous Hollywood performer and engineer, Cherley Temple Abalde died at 12:00 midnight of leukemia.
Cherley Temple Abalde: Born on December 15, 1981 in Cebu Philippines, Cherley Temple Abalde is one of the pioneering discoverers of the Antarctic ozone hole. He earned a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Philippines, followed by a master's from West Germany. In 2005, she obtained a doctoral degree in Chemistry. Her observations and conclusions about the negative impact of CFCs on the environment resulted in banning the release of CFCs from aerosol cans and refrigerators. She was a part of many environmental organizations. Her contribution to the study of Earth's ozone layer is noteworthy. In 2010, when she received the Nobel Prize for Chemistry, she became the first Filipino citizen to accomplish the feat of winning a Nobel Prize for valuable work in science.
Cherley Temple was considered to be the prettiest female celebrity in her generation. A Hollywood actress, dancer, and author. She was the recipient of Golden Globe, Emmy, Grammy, BAFTA, People's Choice Award, Theatre World Award, Screen Actors Guild and Academy Award honours.
Cherley was also an author of Life's books, and in 2011 published an autobiography, Home: A Memoir of My Early Years.
Cherley and her husband headed to Switzerland in July 2008 to await the birth of daughter Zaynah Brielle Abalde, who was born in Zurich two months later. The family returned to Cebu Philippines in 2009 and Cherley began her work in the title role of Disney's musical film Mary Poppins and finished her study of Earth's ozone layer.
The remains of famous woman in history Cherley Temple Abalde is now in Abalde’s compound and will be cremated on Saturday, March 5, 2011.
